In a rapidly changing and an increasingly digitally connected world, the ability to lead is a core attribute of any organisation.
The role of Information professionals across IT and Libraries in Higher Education (HE) has never been more important. High performing, strategic and innovative digital products and services are essential. To achieve this, CIOs and Librarians must ensure that their organisations have strong leadership capabilities so that they and their teams can perform at the highest level and enable a sustainable, information-rich and globally connected future. The CAUDIT Leadership Institute (CLI) has a strong track record of equipping emerging leaders across HE in Australia and New Zealand with exemplary leadership skills and abilities. Many CLI alumni have gone on to make significant contributions in their institutions and acknowledge the significant role the CLI played in their career development. This unique opportunity is open to senior managers and emerging leaders across the HE sector in Australia and New Zealand.
The Institute program comprises a cohesive, contemporary, high quality and intensive set of activities supported by a data and research driven curriculum delivered by an experienced team of practicing leaders. The CLI is not just a sector-specific leadership training program, it is a transformative experience which continues through a growing and active alumni who continue their learning well beyond the Institute. I have been a part of the program since 2017, and during that time have seen the curriculum continually evolve so that it remains current and relevant every year. It is a highlight to see the participants develop over the course of the five days and I cannot recommend the program highly enough.
It is a popular program with a full cohort each year. The program runs for a week in August in the Gold Coast, Queensland.
If you are serious about your career, and want the opportunity to develop strong leadership skills and abilities as well as a growing network of leadership peers across the sector, contact CAUDIT or myself to discuss the program further. Don’t miss out on a fantastic professional development opportunity.
