Mr Vito Forte joined Edith Cowan University from Oracle, where he held the position of Global Key Account Director. He has previously held the role of CIO at Fortescue Metals Group and CIO at WorleyParsons.
In 2014 Vito was named WA Information Technology & Telecommunications Alliance Incite Awards (WAITTA) CIO of the year.
Vito joined ECU at a critical juncture in the transformation to enhance the digital experience provided to 27,000 students, 4000 staff and diverse stakeholders at ECU.
The University has embarked on a new strategic plan which includes ambitious goals to grow ECU’s research capability, expand internationally and enhance student numbers. Technology will have a key role to play in achieving these goals, and Vito’s history of leading successful digital transformations will be critical for the University in the future.
