Alex is the CIO at Murdoch University. He has 30 years of global experience across many industries, with the last 8 in WA higher education, initially at Edith Cowan and then Murdoch, where he became CIO 3 years ago.
Alex's career has been significantly shaped by twenty plus years of consulting interspaced with key transformation delivery roles in the Travel, Superannuation and most recently Higher Education industries.
In his current role, Alex is passionate about transforming staff and student experiences through sustainable technology delivery. He continuously seeks to transform the technology landscape, delivery models and team culture through leadership development and cross-functional collaboration.
Alex moved to Australia in 2012 soon after his two daughters were born to enjoy the amazing WA lifestyle and be nearer to their large extended family.
